Our tools rely on the following subsystems:
- XSB Logic Programming System – an advanced logic based system, which extends the Prolog language by combining intelligent database technology with optimized logic programming technology.
- CDF - a formalism in which ontologies can be defined using Prolog-style facts. CDF allows statements about inclusion of objects in classes, and of one class in another, universal and existential statements about various binary relations among objects and classes, along with conjunctions of such statements.
- XJ - XSB-JAVA middleware that allows declarative definition of Graphical User Interface to be rendered using the Java Swing library.
