XSB, Inc. is a successful Product Content and Data Management (PCDM) technology company. Our automated content and data management solutions have set new standards for the industry in the field of information retrieval, data classification, master data management, supply chain optimization and e-procurement. XSB, Inc. was founded in 1998 and actually started as a small R&D company, and as with all technology companies, research is still an integral part of our work. We are currently focusing our R&D efforts in three key areas: the development of Assistive Browser technologies for the visually impaired, Focused Crawler technology which will utilize ontologies as a basis for automated information retrieval, and Deductive Spreadsheet technologies that will enable users to program intelligent applications using the spreadsheet metaphor without requiring that they have programming knowledge.

Implementation time varies from project to project; but our team of Engineers can very often get even the largest systems up and running in just a few weeks.

Absolutely! We know that pro-active product education is the cornerstone of any successful technology implementation. Our customers receive intensive training from our software and knowledge engineers to ensure their success with the integration of our software solutions and tools.

Our "hands on" approach to training has helped our customers understand the powerful capabilities of our applications and how to best apply those capabilities to solve their unique business problems.

Currently we offer our customers two types of licensing options. The first is an annual license to a particular XSB software solution or tool. This type of licensing agreement allows customers to use our solutions from their location. The second type of license is a service license which allows our customers to reap the rewards and benefits of our technology without expending the time and money necessary for product training and implementation. Through this type of service agreement, our customers send us their unstructured data and our software engineers use our tools to process customer data in house and return structured and actionable data back to the customer. However, XSB, Inc. is not a content factory with employees located offshore…we are based in Stony Brook, NY, and all content and data processing is performed in house by our software and knowledge engineers.
